Moving to Comox has countless benefits — our breathtaking scenic location, our outdoor accessibility, our easy access to the rest of the world and our very mild climate.
The staff and elected officials that work on behalf of the residents of the Town of Comox have made it their priority to welcome new business, new people and new families. Our schools have wonderful programs from athletics, to music, to strong academics to French Immersion.
The Comox Valley Airport YQQ is one of three ways to travel to and from Comox by air. We are served by Air Canada, WestJet, and Pacific Coastal with multiple daily non-stop flights to/from Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver as well as seasonal direct service to Mexico. The second way to arrive is by Harbour Air right into our breathtaking Comox Harbour from Nanaimo Harbour, Powell River Harbour or Vancouver Harbour. The third airway into the valley is the Courtenay Airpark, just five minutes from downtown Comox.
The large military base of CFB Comox ~ 19 Wing ~ is a significant component of the local economy, as is St. Joseph’s Hospital, located in Comox.
