Holiday by the Harbour is a new partnership with the Filberg Heritage Park and Lodge association. Downtown Comox Mayor Tree Lighting and Winter Market is Friday November 22 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Christmas at Filberg Kickoff is Saturday November 23 – visit filberg.com for more info.
DOWNTOWN COMOX MAYOR TREE LIGHTING + WINTER MARKET 2024 Friday November 22
We welcome you to join us for our Annual Mayor Tree Lighting + Winter Market event on Friday Nov 22.
The event has moved indoors, to three different locations:
- Comox Centre Mall – South End
- The Mill Coffee Shop at Kindred Home – Upstairs
- Comox Legion – Upper Hall
There will be no road closures however we are blocking off some no parking for vendors to unload in front of The Mill as well as the Comox Legion.
Schedule of Events
- Winter Market (35+ market vendors, at indoor locations mentioned above): 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Selfies with Santa: 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Roam Media photo studio next to Benino Gelato, 215 Augusta St.)
- Mayor Tree Lighting: 5:15 PM in the Comox Mall, south end
- Entertainment inside the Comox Mall, south end
- Comox Businesses open until 7:00 PM
Event Highlights
- The Comox Military Wives Choir will be caroling right after the Christmas Tree for one hour
- Popcorn by donation from Rotary and Everyone Eats Raffle
- Santa’s coming! Santa’s booth is being beautifully designed this year by Roam Media and Wildflower Mercantile
- There will be options to purchase professional photos by Jenn Dykstra
- Photography of Roam Media (new business opened beside Benino Gelato)
