Boonies Pizza Company started as a summer backyard idea; Nic and Liam have always had an entrepreneurial mindset and took Covid-19 as an opportunity to build something in the town they grew up in. Once a conversation, they dove head first into making this dream a reality and brought Boonies Pizza to life in Downtown Comox. From countless man hours building and finishing live-edge tables, to the complete renovation of the restaurant space, the development of Boonies Pizza was a long 10 month process. We offer a west coast take on pizza utilizing naturally leavened sourdough, and cooked in a brick natural gas oven completely designed, built, and approved by Nic and Liam. These partners have overseen every aspect of partnership building within our communities, including sourcing fresh produce from Portside Produce and Rufus & Robin Farms, award winning cheeses from Natural Pastures Cheese Company, ice cream milk from Little Qualicum Cheeseworks paired with flavours from Wayward Distillery, as well as speciality brewery features from the mainland, and a top notch selection of Vancouver Island breweries. The atmosphere at Boonies Pizza is welcoming and inclusive, and intended for anyone that enjoys casual dining fare amongst friends and family.
