Comox Halloween Costume Parade 2025

Grab your costumes and the kiddos — it’s almost time for our favourite spooky tradition! Beginning at 3:30 PM, downtown Comox will be buzzing with treats, games and a whole lot of Halloween magic.
Kiddies can enjoy classic games like Witch’s Hat Toss, Pumpkin Tic-Tac-Toe, and Plinko. The Comox Library will once again host its popular book giveaway and the Zumba Zombies will swarm Comox Avenue with thrilling performances of Michael Jackson’s Thriller and the Monster Mash.
New this year: Children 12 and under can show off their costumes in the very first Comox Halloween Parade Costume Contest. Celebrity judges JUNO Award winners Helen Austin and Sue Medley will present trophies in five categories: Most Creative Costume, Cutest Costume, Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume and Best Overall Costume. Registration begins at 3:30 PM — limited to the first 25 entries — Judging at 4:30 PM!
“This event is all about community spirit,” says Peter Chambers, President of Comox Business in Action (BIA). “It’s a chance for families to celebrate Halloween together, meet our local businesses and create memories right in the heart of downtown Comox.”

- 3:30 PM: Event starts
- 3:30 – 4:30 PM: Costume Contest Registration (Limited to first 25 entries). Register inside the Comox Mall near Cooperators Insurance
- 4:00 PM: Zumba Zombies perform
- 4:30 PM: Costume Contest Judging & Awards @ inside the Comox Mall near Cooperators Insurance
- 5:00 PM: Zumba Zombies perform
- 5:30 PM: Event ends
